A wanted man sought in connection with an alleged child sexual assault in Delta, B.C., last year remains at large, Delta police said on Tuesday asking for the public’s help to find him.
As part of their ongoing investigation into an incident that occurred in Delta on September 12, 2024, the Delta Police Department’s Vulnerable Sector Unit is seeking public assistance to locate 26-year-old Gurkirat Singh. Singh is wanted to stand trial for these allegations.
In connection with the same incident, Singh was also the subject of a Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers appeal for public assistance on May 23 of this year.
Delta police say a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Singh for sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching, and sexual interference with a person under 16 years old. According to Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers, he is also wanted on an immigration warrant.
Gurkirat Singh is described as six feet tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police believe he may have altered his appearance.
